The Crown Town Challenge is a high-energy, half-day event bringing together teams from companies across the Charlotte region to do something that actually matters and have a blast doing it.
Companies send their teams to assemble hands-on STEAMKits that go directly to local students, then face off in a fast-paced LEGO robotics competition inspired by the Queen City itself. It’s part community impact, part team building, and 100% Charlotte.

In our inaugural year, nearly 150 participants from 13 Charlotte-area companies came together to build 1,000 STEAMKits, all delivered to local students through our partners at Classroom Central. Teams competed in our first-ever LEGO robotics challenge, with Team Honeywell taking home first place and Team SCOR finishing second. It was one for the books and 2026 is going to be bigger.
