Dear Digi-Bridge supporters and friends,
On behalf of the Board of Directors, it is my pleasure to announce that Alyssa Sharpe will become Chief Executive Officer of Digi-Bridge, effective August 1, 2019. She was chosen through a comprehensive search process.
Alyssa’s background and experience uniquely equip her for this leadership role. She has ten years of STEM education and nonprofit management experience, including as a teacher with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Trinity Episcopal School, and as National Director for Project Scientist. Since January of this year, Alyssa has consulted with Digi-Bridge as the Director of Strategic Initiatives where she oversees our growing fee-for-service #STEAMSaturdays offerings in Ballantyne, Davidson, SouthPark, and Uptown.
Given her current role, Alyssa has worked closely with David in his final weeks as CEO. We are thrilled to have her lead Digi-Bridge forward as we continue to create a generation of well-equipped 21st century learners.
We are grateful for your loyal support since the announcement of David’s departure. As we bid David our best on his next adventure, please join the Board in welcoming Alyssa as Digi-Bridge’s new leader. She can be reached at alyssa@digi-bridge.org
Sincere Regards,
Patricia Massey Hoke
