Last month, we kicked off our 2021-22 fiscal year by welcoming three new members to Digi-Bridge’s Board of Directors.

Randy Alexander (Lowe’s), Erin Culbert (Duke Energy) and Vanessa Rabito (TBH Consulting) have joined as excellent additions to our board, and will add much to the organization.

Digi-Bridge Board of Directors“I admire the way Digi-Bridge builds knowledge and confidence in STEAM topics, and I’m most looking forward to advancing that work,” Culbert said. “As we’re able to expand to more schools, we bring an engaging curriculum that sparks what we hope is a lifelong interest and appreciation for science and technology. That’s a tremendous gift to bring to a child’s life.”

Arina Kirk, founder and president of eAdopt, will continue as Digi-Bridge’s board chair.

“I’m thrilled to continue serving as board chair for Digi-Bridge,” Kirk said. “The continued work this organization is doing is vital for our youth, their learning and their futures, and I’m excited to be part of it.”

Alexander looks forward to his personal involvement with Digi-Bridge.

“Digi-Bridge has just scratched the surface, and has so much opportunity to engage and increase awareness around STEM education for learners within our community,” Alexander said. “As Lowe’s has been a corporate partner/supporter of Digi-Bridge for a number of years, I am thrilled to play an active role personally, to increase STEM awareness, particularly for underserved youth who wouldn’t otherwise have opportunities for a rich STEM curriculum.”

The new additions to our Board of Directors means saying goodbye to Patricia Massey Hoke and Tomiaka Wingard who stepped down after six years of service on our board. Digi-Bridge is grateful for their leadership and because of them, we’re a stronger organization.
