#ActivateSummer Exceeds Goal of Raising $15,000

When we said #ActivateSummer, YOU really listened and we are grateful.

We are beyond excited to announce that through #ActivateSummer (June 17-28) we raised $15,265 which will enable 30 children to attend #STEAMSummer Intensives through scholarships.

The Digi-Bridge board of directors matched donations dollar for dollar, Wednesday, June 26 through Friday, June 28 and donated $3,000. Thank you!

We also tried something new this year and hosted our first-ever Bots & Brews on Wednesday, June 26 at Free Range Brewing. Forty of you came out to support #ActivateSummer and enjoy a little weeknight LEGO robotics fun!

But more importantly, Bots & Brews was a great way to demonstrate what our scholars do during our #STEAMSaturdays and #STEAMSummer Intensives.

Our #STEAMSummer Intensives return this summer for three weeks at three different locations:

  • July 22-26 – Pfeiffer University in SouthPark

  • July 29 – Aug. 2 – The Hurt Hub@Davidson College

  • Aug. 5-9 – Aloft Charlotte Ballantyne

These intensives provide an alternative to the traditional summer camp experience … a modern alternative where scholars will learn new skills and make new friends. Did we mention they’ll be learning? Shhh. Don’t tell them that! Spaces are still available at all three sessions, so tell your friends, neighbors and family members!

If you ere unable to donate during #ActivateSummer, that’s OK! We’d love for you to learn more about what we do and consider making your gift here.

Thank you again for your commitment to Digi-Bridge during #ActivateSummer!
