Lowe’s Helps Digi-Bridge Reach More Scholars

Digi-Bridge relies on its community partners to assist in providing our programs and support to many students in our community. And thanks to Lowe’s Home Improvement, we’ve been able to reach so many more students in 2019 and 2020.

To date, Lowe’s has invested $62,000 in Digi-Bridge including:

  • Providing 215 Winter STEAM Kits for scholars in CMS Title 1 partner schools
  • Providing 750 Summer STEAM Kits to scholars in CMS Title 1 partner schools
  • Providing volunteers to help assemble both Winter and Summer STEAM Kits
  • Providing STEAM Lab curriculum support with mentoring components
  • Sponsorship of Bots & Brews & BOOs
  • Providing 3D printers so we could print PPE and teach students 3D printing design skills

“Community partnerships are necessary to allow us to further our work and increase our programming,” said Digi-Bridge CEO Alyssa Sharpe. “This year has been challenging on many fronts and Lowe’s has helped us think creatively and adjust what we do to better meet the needs of our students and families.”

We are grateful for the support from Lowe’s and we’re very excited about our partnership as we finish 2020 and head into 2021. Stay tuned for a BIG announcement in November made possible by Lowe’s Foundation. We can’t wait to share the good news!
